Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the same year, she recorded her first album of songs, called It's time for Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also established herself as an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
