Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Having caught the public's attention in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly rose to the highest of the charts thanks to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary artist due to her soprano voice, and her talent in writing songs that are both captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap as well as other artists similar to her. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major recording deal. The album she released was scheduled for release.
